Hilbert's hotel has an infinite number of rooms and is so popular that each of these rooms is already occupied by a guest. The receptionist has been instructed not to send any guests away. The solution to the mathematical thought experiment shows that even an infinite number of buses, each with an infinite number of new guests, can all check into Hilbert's hotel. Since the number of passengers can be counted, a room can be found foreach passenger by calculating the number of moves. It is important that all guests change rooms at the same time, otherwise the moves would take an infinitely long time. Now imagine the sound of the hotel doors opening and closing simultaneously...
